PIGPROX-TR, the Intelligent Pig Tracking System consists of a pig tracking tool and software, usually placed at intervals of 1 to 3 kilometers (0.66 to 1.875 miles) along the pipeline. Equipped with high-sensitivity sensors, it can track the real-time infra sonic signals generated by the pig during running along the pipeline. By leveraging AI algorithms, the system synchronously transmits operational status information via 4G (with optional 5G or GPS transmission) to the pig tracking software platform. The AI algorithms can calculate real-time operational data, including the pig's location, speed, and stuck positions. The users can acquire pig’s running information through computers or mobile devices during pigging.
